New York Fashion Week has concluded, and we're now deep into London Fashion Week. I can spend hours looking through collections and pinning them to my Fashion Weeks Pinterest board. The runway is obviously a great source of inspiration when you're feeling in a style rut, and there's no reason to wait to preorder the fashion you love from Moda Operandi. (Has anyone ever done this?) Here are three looks, straight from the NYFW F/W 2014 runway, you can copy right now.
I was a little surprised to see this look in Vera Wang's collection. Sure, we've see her do black wedding gowns but nothing so street-style and grunge-chic. I also don't recall her ever doing graphic tees. Though I could be wrong. At first glance I was unsure how I felt about this look but then I couldn't stop looking at it. I like how playful it is. I may just wear the skirt with the flannel and necklace, but I like the idea of the whole outfit.
The styling of this printed shirt dress is where I draw most inspiration. The socks and heels add a catholic school girl appeal to an already sexy (but not overtly) shirt dress. (P.S. That grey bag is from Target!)
