Some of my favorite images to look at are of celebrity airport style - you know, pictures of celebrities taken by the paparazzi at airports. It's hard to explain why I love them. I don't worship celebrities. I just think they're nice to look at. Their lives seem so vastly different from mine and so to see them in an airport, a place that I've been to quite often, makes them more relatable but in a way more glamorous way. My favorites to stalk are Kate Bosworth, Victoria Beckham, and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley - always glamorous and slightly over the top.

I'll be honest, my real airport style isn't that fabulous. When I travel, practicality usually wins over glamour. I would really love to dress like this but (1) how ridiculous would it be to take these boots off in the Security line (2) I can't sit in over-the-knee boots for more than an hour (not with these thighs) and (3) there's no way I would wear this much jewelry! Again, you have to remove jewelry for Security, and I would be so afraid to lose a piece.

But that's why I love my blog. It's my sandbox to play in and do whatever I want with. For a moment, I felt glamorous and slightly over the top at the airport, and it was pretty fun!
