I'm excited to share details on my latest blog redesign for my favorite, fashion blogging sisters, Natalie and Erika of The Fashionably Broke. They came with many ideas on how they wanted to update their blog but left it to me to give them a cleaner and more modern design. Check out the before and after:




HOMEPAGE HIGHLIGHTS \\
1. Created a new logo that matches their vibrant personalities
2. Created a new "sticky", drop-down, navigation bar with menu items and social media buttons that highlight when you hover over them
3. Moved the search box to the navigation bar
4. Moved their Instagram feed below the navigation bar and widened it to fit the width of the screen
5. Removed several sidebar gadgets that cluttered their design
6. Changed homepage Posts to summaries and moved the Post Title & Date underneath the first image (on the post pages the Post Title appears at the top)
7. Updated the social media share icons



FOOTER CHANGES \\
1. Moved “Older Post” link from the right side to the left side
2. Created a new social media section footer with image links to different areas of their blog
3. Changed the footer \ attribution background to black to match the navigation bar



ABOUT US PAGE CHANGE \\
1. Created an image collage to highlight all the subject areas of their blog
