BABYMOON IN PUERTO RICO - BLENDING IN

At about the 27th week of pregnancy, my normal size dresses started to get to the point where I couldn't even squeeze into them. Even still, I took a risk and ordered this Jaggar Camouflage Dress from Fashion Bunker on sale in a size small. I wasn't going for a loose look, so the small size worked out well and now gives me a good post pregnancy goal.

One of the best decisions we made while staying at the El Conquistador Resort in Fajardo, Puerto Rico, was to go off the resort for dinner a couple of nights. Whenever we travel, my husband and I love to try local cuisine and beverages. The concierge recommended a nearby restaurant called, La Estacion. (FYI - They open later than their website says. Call them to verify their hours before you go.). The restaurant is less than a mile from the resort and the food is amazing. You must try a mofongo which is fried, mashed, green plantains topped with different meats. One of the special dishes offered was lobster mofongo - OH. MY. GOODNESS!! - my mouth waters just thinking about it. I was too excited to eat it and didn't get a picture.

We really enjoyed staying at the El Con Resort but were surprised that of all the 15 restaurants available to us onsite, none of them offered an authentic Puerto Rican style menu. More on this and things to do while staying at the El Conquistador Resort tomorrow...
