I've had a girl crush on Sarah Jessica Parker since I first saw her in my all time favorite movie, Girls Just Want to Have Fun. My favorite SJP moment from that movie is of course the finale (**spoiler alert**) when her character, Janey Glenn, wins the Dance TV dance competition by executing a very dramatic synchronized gymnastics routine with her partner. It's...Amazing! If you haven't seen it, you need to. It's full of ridiculously wonderful 80s fashion and music. One of my best friends found the DVD for me, and it's one of my most cherished possessions - up there with my Chanel bag. I'm serious.

I also loved SJP in LA Story, Hocus Pocus, and then of course, the obsession increased to a new level when I discovered Sex and the City. The show brings back so many fun memories of nights laughing with my girlfriends over the absurdity of the SATC ladies' dating lives and swooning over the designer fashion.

My SJP crush even brought me to Steve and Barry's when she launched her first clothing line. Oh yes, I bought the winning Project Runway look designed by Victorya Hong. Sadly, I lost the bow dress and vest at some point when I moved to DC.

So, of course, I had to see the launch of SJP's new shoe line at Nordstrom. My local Nordstrom threw a fun little party to celebrate the launch with mocktails, yummy bites and makeovers. I tried on a few pairs of shoes and below are my top 5 favorites.
