The EMP Museum behind me (designed by Frank Gehry) houses the history of musical artists whose career blossomed in Seattle. While Pearl Jam, Nirvana, and Jimi Hendrix are arguably the most well known Seattle artists, I was surprised to learn that The Presidents of the United States, Sir-Mix-a-Lot, and Heart also got their start here.
