Winter storm Juno barely impacted DC. There was just enough snow to make the sidewalks slippery and force us to scrape a little snow off our windshield before driving but not enough to be pretty or force a fun snow day. Annoying...

The other annoying thing is that I forgot there is a crack in my wellies, and I can't seem to find anyone in town that can fix them. My feet have gotten a little bigger during this pregnancy, and so I've been hesitant to buy any new shoes until I know for sure that this new size will last. Just as I was about to stick some duck tape on my wellies and call it a day, I #FabFound these flat Nine West boots at Marshalls on clearance for $31. At that price, I don't feel bad about sizing up. They're comfortable and great in the snow.

Between the snow, freezing temperatures, and rain, the weather in DC has been abysmal. I hate to admit it, but I've been hibernating for most of it. I've been a bit paranoid about slipping or falling and harming my baby bump. It's actually been a good thing because I'm getting a lot of work done and working out (indoor). My husband and I did venture out to together to the National Harbor and outlet mall last weekend. Thank goodness for this trench sent to me by Athleta (c/o). It's a great rain and winter coat and according to Vogue - moss green is the new black. The coat also arrived at the perfect time since my winter, puffer coat no longer zips over my bump.

Or ride our bikes around the hall?? I can't stop singing this song while I'm wearing this fuzzy cropped coat #FabFound at Marshalls. It's so thick and warm, and okay maybe slightly on the verge of looking like a cropped bathrobe, but what's wrong with that... You heard it here first - spa-leisure is the next big thing! I'm kidding. Though, in all seriousness, I crave soft, plush fabrics in the winter and this coat is just the right touch. What do you think?

My girlfriends (Julien, Natalie, Cheralee) and I met up in the Mosaic District last weekend for some Christmas shopping and girl time. Mosaic is quickly becoming one of my favorite shopping destinations outside of DC. There are so many unique shops and restaurants there that you could easily spend an entire day. An ideal day for me would be to start with small breakfast at Dolcezza in the Park (I recommend the almond croissants), then get a blowout and mani-pedi at Salon Nordine (with Rachel Wetsel or Diana Rivera), lunch at True Food Kitchen or Cava Mezze Grill, then shop at Anthom, Take Five Boutique, South Moon Under, the Sophie Blake & Erika Shrieber Pop Up Shop, Target..., get dinner at Gypsy Soul (on my to-try list), and then watch a movie at Angelika. Doesn't that sound amazing?

I have some holiday parties coming up, and I think I've finally come up with the perfect recipe on how to dress my baby bump this holiday season. This look was partially inspired by the crop top and skirt that Kerri Washington wore to the SAG Awards. Since it's freezing out (and because I wasn't custom dressed by Prada), I decided it was wise not to bare my belly but instead wear my skirt all the way up to the empire line. This worked out especially well with my petite height - making the skirt fall a little longer than a midi length. What do you think? How will you be dressing this holiday season?

The shirt dress - a staple closet piece for any woman (pregnant or not). Wear a shirt dress on its own in the Spring and Summer and then layer a shirt dress over pants or leggings in the Fall and Winter. I'd even wear this one over skinny jeans. Wear them to work or play, they fit in everywhere.

I found this aztec sweater in the men's department at H&M. You already know I love the menswear-inspired trend, but what I'm doing more and more of (probably because I'm getting bigger and bigger) is wearing my husband's clothes and checking out men's style. With Winter coming, slouchy, comfy, and cozy will be the key words for my wardrobe, and men's clothing is cut just right for that. I'm wearing my aztec sweater with maternity jeans also from H&M. (Side note: Who knew there was a whole maternity section at the H&M in downtown DC? I must have passed by it thousand time and never realized it existed.) H&M had a buy one get one 1/2 off sale, and so I begrudgingly bought four pairs. Such a good decision.

Hey, hey, hey... I'm pregnant and wearing a pencil skirt and crop top! I didn't think it was going to happen, and it's not quite the same crop top and pencil skirt look from February (brace yourself, the change is quite drastic - insert monkey emoji covering his eyes), but after staring longingly at the skirts in my closet, I couldn't take it any longer. I knew I wasn't ready to bare my bump, especially not in these cooler temperatures, so a high waisted skirt was my best bet. Between us, I had to size up 3X larger than I normally wear. I probably could have gotten away with one size lower but any kind of pressure on my stomach is pretty uncomfortable. What do you think? Am I pulling it off or should I stick to maternity jeans and sweatpants?

The easiest way to dress a growing belly is with loose dresses like this Textured-pattern Dress from H&M. There are so many subtly added details that made purchasing this dress an easy decision: textured fabric, wide-cut, contrasting black trim at the neckline and armholes, pockets!, and an asymmetrical hem (shorter in the front, longer in the back also known to me as the "mullet hem"). For Fall, I layered the dress over a textured long sleeve crop top from Zara. I think this look would be even better with heeled boot, but I was running around a lot this day so kept the styling more casual with flat black booties.
